The Honorable Joseph R. Biden

President of the United States

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, D.C. 20500

Dear Mr. President:

The United States of America was built on strong individualism and the rejection of government interference in their matters. Your COVID mandates issued September 9, 2021, are exactly the reasons why the 13 colonies overthrew British rule in the American Revolutionary War 246 years ago.

Our founding fathers wrote our Declaration of Independence based on the principles of a social contract, limited government, the consent of the governed and the separation of powers. You, Mr. President trampled on each of those principles with your “six-part plan”. You have used your presidential authority to take this great nation back to colonial times and most certainly an autocracy.

Abraham Lincoln called the Declaration of Independence “it shall be a rebuke and a stumbling-block to the very harbingers of re-appearing tyranny and oppression.” Please remember Mr. President that it is the people of this great nation who are the source of all political power enjoyed by the government. The people can withhold that power too. OUR Declaration of Independence continues to inspire me and people around this great country to fight for freedom and liberty. I will, as the proudly elected representative of Texas Congressional District 04, support any legal challenges levied against the Department of Labor emergency rule mandating all private-sector businesses with more than 100 employees to require that their workforces be fully vaccinated or test negative at least once a week. Two hundred forty-six years ago Mr. President we fought to be rid of tyranny; we will not sit idly by to see its return.

For Texas and Liberty,

Pat Fallon, Member
