WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, Rep. Pat Fallon (TX-04) introduced the Espionage Prevention Act (EPA), which would establish intelligence community funding restrictions on institutions of higher education that have a relationship with certain entities in the People's Republic of China.
"America's national security secrets should never be handed over to Communist China, yet far too many of our colleges and universities are actively partnering with concerning Chinese entities while taking American taxpayer dollars from the Intelligence Community," Rep. Fallon commented. "We can no longer provide funding to institutions that are helping our greatest adversary steal our research, recruit our talent, and undermine our country from within. It is common sense to put American security first and stop funding espionage on our own soil."
