Congressman Fallon Introduces The No Terrorists on U.S. Soil Act

Washington, D.C. – As first reported by Washington ExaminerCongressman Pat Fallon (TX-04) recently introduced legislation that would prevent anyone from closing or transferring Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility to another location. This facility allows the U.S. to detain the most despicable terrorists the world has to offer, without endangering the lives of Americans here at home.

The co-sponsors of the legislation are Reps. (4): Moylan, DesJarlais, Gimenez, and Mills.

Congressman Fallon issued the statement below:

“The individuals who are imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay are the worst of the worst. Simply put, they are too dangerous to be released or transferred to another prison on US soil. Calls to close the detention facility at US Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba are shortsighted and have always been beat back in a bipartisan manner.

This bill ensures that trend continues, and the United States remains safe from these terrorists.”
