Yesterday, Congressman Pat Fallon (TX-04) visited the Donna U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility in McAllen, Texas with his colleagues Brian Babin (TX-36), Jodey Arrington (TX-19), Michael Burgess (TX-26), Louie Gohmert (TX-1), Ronny Jackson (TX-13), Pete Sessions (TX-17), Beth Van Duyne (TX-24), Randy Weber (TX-14), Troy Nehls (TX-22), Kevin Brady (TX-8), John Carter (TX-31), and Chip Roy (TX-21).

“I just came out of the Donna Holding Facility, where they are supposed to have about 250 people because of COVID-19 restrictions. They have 4,700 human beings in there.
“I am disgusted. I have never been more ashamed and furious at an American President as I am right now. This isn’t about politics; this is about people.
“The fact that Joe Biden changed the policy and encouraged thousands, in fact – hundreds of thousands of people to come here with false promises is disgusting.
“In each one of these pods where there are supposed to be thirty-two children, there are 500 of them. They are in jail right now. Almost all of them are from Central America.
“And look at what we’re doing. We’re building more, because they won’t solve the issue. You have to change the policy. We have to implement what President Trump did.
“Do you know who is winning? The drug cartels, because we have all of our border agents who have to babysit the unaccompanied minors; there are about 3,700 unaccompanied minors in just this facility. So the drug cartels are running ‘roughshod’, and that harms us.
“Who is paying for all of this? You, the American taxpayer. Joe Biden says the border is secure, but we need to know the truth.”
